Paul Seaton, managing director at Fulcrum Asset Management North America, thinks that persistent inflation and a potential recession leave the equity markets vulnerable during the second half of 2023, and while he is not expecting a volatile downturn as a result, he does think investors need to check their expectations and not get carried away by the market’s gains to this point in the year.
